The King of My Boy-Crazy Heart: Mick Jagger

Let's finish off this two-month celebration of boy craziness with the King of my boy-crazy heart, Mick Jagger. This man has been making my pants want to get up and dance pretty much non-stop since the 1960s, and I hope it never ends. He sings, "If you start me up, I'll never stop." Well, he did, and I haven't.
If you haven't ever seen his 1968 film debut, Performance, rent it from Netflix. Watch/listen to the strange and riveting "Memo From Turner" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbyrm9q_bvM&feature=related  Mick's song, "Charmed Life," says it all. He'll be 70 next year, but he's still young at heart, and it shows. Watch the music video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRwQIuDeapE&ob=av2e
He sorta grew into those lips, dontcha think?

Shine A Light, Martin Scorsese's 2008 documentary about the Stones' "A Bigger Bang" tour, proves that Mick still has more go than the Energizer Bunny.

Thus endth the lesson. Thanks for enjoying these lovely men with me. Long live boy crazy women!

Billy Zane

I first became aware of the charms of Billy Zane while watching the film, Orlando. Zane plays the ornately-named Marmaduke Bonthrop Shelmerdine, who comes galloping up on a horse, falls off, and winds up in bed with lucky Tilda Swinton. The scene when he wakes up the next morning will take your breath away. His sweet, slow smile is like the sun breaking through clouds.
Zane gained international recognition with the role of villain Hughie Warriner in the thriller Dead Calm with Nicole Kidman. I wonder if this had anything to do with Nicole's breakup with Tom Cruise. She probably couldn't stop comparing Tom with Billy. No contest, Nicole: Zane is hot, hot hot; Cruise is not, not, not!
Mama warned me about guys like this, 'cause I'm sure she didn't want me to miss the chance to be crazy about them.

Four Crazy-Making Musicians

Here are four musicians who make me feel boy crazy:
Joe Perry of Aerosmith
 Cowboy Joe?
Joe shows off his man boobs in a push-me-up vest. Oh. Apparently, Joe already has a "girlfriend."
Herbie Hancock, American pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, and composer.
Queen's Freddie Mercury
Pete Wentz, pouty-lipped, hoodie-wearing,
former bassist for Fallout Boy
Okay, I didn't need to see this (below left).

All I can think of when looking at Pete's haircut (below right) is how handy that forelock would be when yanking his head up from...wherever it might be.

Drevoslav

Ah, those Russian men! This is at least the third Russian in my series of boy-crazy-worthy guys. I feel a little silly admitting to boy-craziness for this one, because he's not a celebrity, I've never actually met him, and I can't exactly explain the attraction.

I first saw his picture on a social website, where he'd posted photos of himself in traditional Russian garb.

He looks so contemplative in these photos, so appreciative of nature, that I found him irresistible.
His screen name was "Drevoslav," which, he explained, means "glorify tree." As I read his profile, I could almost hear his heavily-accented English. Before long, I was telling friends about him and even singing and making jokes in what I imagined to be his actual voice.
Even though he's 7,000 miles away, thanks to the Russian equivalent of FaceBook, I was able to access other photos of Drevoslav on outings with his friends, going to concerts, getting a tattoo, drinking a beer, playing music.
He has a penchant for stuffed animals.
Doesn't he look as if he would make a fine daddy?
Well, maybe not.
I cyber-stalked Drevoslav all through the summer...
...and in winter, too.
I wonder if he'd consider registering
as a mail-order boyfriend?
Oh, he even loves cats! How perfect is that?

Richard Gere

Whether he's rocking a pair of plaid pants in Breathless, a Navy uniform in An Officer and a Gentleman,  or a loincloth in King David, Richard Gere easily generates plenty of boy-craziness.
 Breathless, 1983, contains full-
frontal Gere nudity.
Gere should have won an award for best depiction of bipolar disorder in Breathless. View the final scene: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=sziz4bCzkYU&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PLEFA9753E329D7FC1
He started out beautiful...
Voted People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive," 1999

...and he just gets better as the years go by.
