This month's posts are a continuation of February's posts following Michelle's "excellent adventure" as a volunteer in Guatemala. Initially, only February was devoted to her activities, but she's decided to stay in Guatemala through April. To read Parts 1-20 of her experience, click on the February link.
For those of you who haven't met Michelle, all you really need to know about her is shown in the photo above. That's Michelle, in an unfamiliar landscape, with a look of pure wonder and enthusiasm on her face. She's not completely in the frame, because she wants you to look not so much at her, as at what she's sharing with you.
Michelle has been volunteering with a variety of charitable organizations, and she gave me permission to share a bit of her adventure on this blog. Below are some of the sights that greeted Michelle soon after she arrived in Antigua and San Felipe. The March posts chronicle Michelle's work in another part of Guatemala: Santiago Atitlan.
Beautiful La Merced Catholic Church
Carrying Home the Vegetables
Not-So-Distant Volcanoes
